About Me

She:kon! Bridgette ionkiats.  Wakeniahten niwakitahrohta.  Kanien'kehaka niwakowenhntsioton. (Greetings! My name is Bridgette.  The Turtle is my clan. Mohawk is my nation).

I am a reconnecting native born off the Six Nations Reservation.  I am a self taught beader and have learned that  beading is done through "ka'nikonri:io" which means "good mind" and that is something I take to heart and practice in each of my pieces. I hope you enjoy these beaded pieces as much as I enjoyed making them!  Niaw:en kowa (thank you very much) for supporting my small business.
